Privacy Policy

Glancefy ("we", "our", "us") is operated by MPSky Pty Ltd (ABN pending), trading as MPSky. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect data when you install and use the Glancefy app on Shopify.

1. Data We Collect

When you install Glancefy, we access the following Shopify data via the Admin API:

• Order data — order totals, counts, and timestamps to calculate revenue metrics.
• Product data — titles, inventory levels, and pricing for product performance scoring.
• Customer data — display name, email, order count, and total spend for customer analytics. We do not store raw customer records.

2. Data We Store

We store the following on our servers:

• Your shop domain and Shopify session tokens (for authentication).
• Aggregated daily metrics (revenue, order count, AOV, customer counts).
• AI-generated insight summaries and recommendations.
• Product performance scores (aggregated, not per-customer).

We do not store credit card numbers, payment details, or customer passwords.

3. Third-Party AI Providers

Glancefy uses Google Gemini to generate AI insights. When you request an insight, we send aggregated, anonymised store metrics (revenue totals, order counts, product names) to the AI provider. No personally identifiable customer information is sent.

4. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as the app is installed. When you uninstall Glancefy, all stored data (sessions, metrics, insights, product scores) is deleted immediately via the app/uninstalled webhook. Any remaining data is purged within 48 hours via Shopify's GDPR shop/redact webhook.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties, except as described in Section 3 (AI providers) and as required by law.

6. Security

Data is transmitted over HTTPS (TLS 1.2+). Session tokens are managed by Shopify's official authentication library. Our servers are hosted on secure infrastructure with restricted access.

7. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time by contacting us. Uninstalling the app automatically deletes all data.

8. GDPR & CCPA Compliance

We handle customers/data_request, customers/redact, and shop/redact webhooks as required by Shopify's data protection framework.
